Alta Step
Alta Step is an uncommon wiring component.
A simple pressure plate, or a floor button, semi-hidden on the floor.
Although quite small in size, it’s convenient enough and doesn’t take a lot of pressure to switch, meaning it can be used by any creature.

- Human: There’s a button! I can’t not press it!
- Hylotl: Buttons are infuriating. Still, I must push it.
