Bionid is an uncommon crafting material.
These biocrystals are a complex combination of cells and crystal molecules called
bionid. Can be refined into different
bion compounds.
This organic material is often obtained from biocrystal growth, like tonnovas, bulbonid stems, and rarely in form of simple deposits. It’s natural luminescent abilities make it easy to detect, but it’s complex bion connections require special tools to break apart. For this reason, materials made from bion compounds are very sturdy and agile, making it perfect for producing things like bulletproof cloth.
Bionid is a natural
bionic, and its bioluminescent glow comes from its ability to effectively turn energy into light-producing chemical reactions.
Even if not really crystallic, alta commonly call its more structured variations an organic crystal, or biotsyn. These variations are often found in tonnovas, as opposed to a more “pure” variant that can be found in
bulbonid stems.
Most natural bionid objects, like tonnova trees or bulbonid, drop bionid when destroyed.
