It’s the spooky season!
The Hallowing Ceternity wouldn’t be complete without its cast of spooky characters! From mysterious beings to mischievous candy thieves, here’s your guide to the (mostly!) friendly faces of the spook night.
Ceternity - The Heart of Spooks
The holiday’s namesake! Ceternity appears as an abstract, colorful face on posters and decorations throughout alta cities.
No one knows what Ceternity really is - a being? A concept? An aesthetic? But everyone agrees it’s the perfect symbol for spooky season!
Stardust Orchid - Candy Thief!
Watch your treats! The Orchid loves to trick silly altas and steal their Ceternity candies.
If you see mysterious stardust sparkles near your candy stash, she’s probably nearby! Don’t worry though - she’s more playful than scary~
Candies often feature protective wrappers designed to keep Ceternity and Orchid away from your precious sweets. Whether these actually work is… debatable. But they look cute!
During Ceternity, altas invite shadows to join celebrations! These ghostly void creatures fit perfectly into the spooky atmosphere.
Their civilization remains mysterious, but encounters are usually positive - especially when expected! Perfect party guests for spooky season~
Spooksmen - Professional Scares
These outer space experts in creating eerie atmospheres collaborate with altas to enhance Ceternity! Known for their professional scaring skills, spooksmen add extra excitement and mystery to celebrations.
They take spookiness seriously - but in a fun way!
Jack O’ Lanterns - Glowing Guardians
Neonjacks (carved neonmelons) glow teal-green, while Yaajacks (carved yaara melons) glow orange. Both use natural internal light to create eerie illumination!
These bioluminescent lanterns line streets and doorways, keeping the spooky atmosphere alive all night long.
Rare spooky variants of familiar creatures appear during Ceternity season:
Nightmare Orbides - their limping is the only thing you’ll hear in the dark Nightmare Anglures - only their mysterious light visible at night
They’re more terrifying than usual, but still part of the fun!
Here’s the secret: dress in scary costumes so the spooks think you’re one of them! They’ll share their candy instead of stealing yours.
Elegant dark dresses, vampire costumes, witch robes - anything spooky works! The better your costume, the more treats you might receive~
Despite all the eerie atmosphere and mysterious beings, Ceternity remains a cheerful celebration! The spooks are friendly, the scares are fun, and everyone’s here to enjoy the season.
So don’t be afraid - embrace the spookiness and join the party! Just maybe keep your candy somewhere safe…
