Here’s a list of stuff you could try to achieve!

Craft the Alta Crafting Station! Need to start with something, and this neat little table will give you a way around it! Can be found in tier 1 Inventor’s Table.
Max it out! Welp, not so easy now, huh. Might want to explore? Datamasses can be found in random chests or in Alta Datacenter.

EXPLORE: ALTERASH (T3-4)

Reach and explore an alterash planet! This is where the mod progression starts! Can be found near Temperate Stars.
Dig deep and explore antorash! An underworld deep in alterash caves, with secret labs and bunkers! Or… Should you try and reach the asteroids?..

EXPLORE: ALTERASH PRIME (T4-5)

Reach and explore an alterash prime planet! Is it me, or is it getting cold in here?.. Can be found near Frozen Stars.
Explore the esetera. SO MANY CRYSTALS!! AND COLORS!!! Be careful not to fall too deep though…
Reach the ion core. Tier 5 materials, lots of treasure… Wait, what’s this? Some things are yet to be understood.

CRAFT YOURSELF T6 ARMOR!

Ceternia Core fills Elite Set with protective energy! Can be found in Yaara Groves on alterash planets.
Those Alternia Set parts require some potent Alternia Shards! Can be found in Hevika Caves on alterash prime planets.
Let all that Enterite send you to sleep, Dreamer! Can be found on asteroids of alterash prime planets.

MOD CONCEPTS AND FACTIONS

alta
Altas are an artificial humanoid species that can commonly be found around alterash planets. These bionic creatures are primarily focused on crystal-related research.

Io
Io is a type of celestial environments high on electric charges and Stardust icon stardust. This is where planets like alterash are usually forming. Altas consider Io to be a its own being, rather than a vague area in space.

yaara
Yaara Groves are huge underground megaplants, that spread into large distances and form their own microclimate with different plants and creatures inside.

warped
A constantly spreading plant-like matter, that “warps” the surroundings it contaminates. Can often be quite poisonous, and, in some cases, bioluminescent.

Enchanted
Also known as Viona, enchanted areas are anomalous places where different types of energy merge and combine, creating a highly unstable environment.

EDS
A militaristic alta faction centered around protecting altas against various threats. Lately, something went wrong with their command centers, leading to defensive technology going rogue.

Faradea
A freedom-loving faction of mercenaries, rarely found in the wild. Unlike most altas, faradea mercs’ lifestyle revolves around roaming the planet, scavenging for treasure.

Astera
The rare asteroids beyond the stardust eva sky, that hide rare, yet powerful treasure.

Since altas are a very research-centered species, you will find many scientific alta factions along the way. For example:

ALTA SCANNER

Create the Alta Scanner at the crafting station and use it to scan any items and objects in your possesion to reveal their extended lore, usage and additional parameters, like colony tags!
